Information About Me
I have been fortunate to be a Math teacher at Kensington Woods High School since 2003. I love the students and the teaching environment at KWHS. Over the years, I have been able to integrate a lot of technology into my classroom which has increased student engagement and achievement in Math. At KWHS, teachers are inspired to try innovative techniques and creative ways to reach students and to make learning meaningful. It is exciting to be learning new things right along with my students!
Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family. Some of my favorite activities include running at Kensington Metropark and any kind of fitness activity. My husband, Rich, is a meteorologist for the National Weather Service. My oldest daughter, Sarah, is a student at Illinois State University and my youngest daughter, Kylie, is a senior in high school. We also have a Bernese Mountain Dog named Bella who loves to go for walks. Our family interests and school schedules keep us all pretty busy!
